ABOUT ME

MY STORY

I have been drawing and painting as far back as I can remember. My family always encouraging me to pursue my artistic abilities. My grandfather (PopPop) who was a draftsman, introduced me to the art of technical drawing at a very young age. I fell in love with precision, crispy lines, and fine details. Little did I know how well that would carry on into my future career of tattooing.

I took an interest in tattoos in high school, and couldn’t wait to get my first one. It became a fixation where I wanted to know every aspect of it. The more I dove into it the more I started to realize it might be the perfect career path for me. I couldn’t stand school and had absolutely no interest in college. All I could picture myself doing was creating artwork for people.

I got my first tattoo at 17 from Steve at The Quillian Tattoo. Right there and then I berated him with questions of how to get into the industry. He tried to scare me off by introducing me to the shop apprentice at the time, Patrick. This backfired as it only made we want to learn more as Pat told me all the details about his apprenticeship. A friendship was born and I kept my foot in the door as the annoying teen asking to learn over the next few years.

I graduated and jumped straight into working and grinding to create a worthy portfolio of artwork. After what had been a few years since my first tattoo with Steve, I finally was able to get him to agree to give me a shot. Thus my very own apprenticeship started, which then continued for one whole year. In that year I devoted myself to learning everything from the ground up and it paid off when I was offered to tattoo at The Quillian as an artist.

After almost 10 years of pouring my heart and soul into the tattooing, it was time for me to leave The Quillian for a place I could really spread my wings and be comfortable.

Thats when my good friend Jay told me about his opening of a new shop in the quiet town of Hellertown and how he would love for me to be a part of it.

After joining Hellertown Tattoo Company, I have discovered even more love for tattooing that I did not know was possible. I
have never felt so accepted for who I am as an artist. Its also just an absolute blast to be working along side my ‘partner’ Jay again.

Here i am at 10 years of experience, still striving to do my best each day for each tattoo. I’m always looking for ways to improve my craft and skills and I would not be able to do so without the support of all my clients. It will continue to blow my mind that there are so many people willing to permanently put my artwork on them. Its something I will never take for granted.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the buzz of my machine, I love yall
